Why are our feet imperfect and our hands aren't?

Face it, everybody has nice hands. What does an ugly hand even look like? Hands are average by default, but when it comes to feet...way different story. There are some extremely hideous feet out there, hammer toes, crooked toes, infected toes, yellow nails, bent, twisted, boney, cracky. If feet and hands are basically the same thing, why is it hands are all alike and feet can be quite disgusting?
