Does Gary Barlow actually sing in his real accent?

I don't know who he is, but I bet he sings in whatever is the current version of "Mid-Atlantic" ( a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mid-Atlantic_English" rel="nofollow"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mid-Atlanti…/a ). It is not just a different register used for singing (or even vowel substitutions as used in clical singing in extreme ranges), but specifically an approximation to a "tolerably American" accent. It's been like that since the days of the "British Elvis".
