What should I do to fix paint on new car?

a rock hit the front of my brand new car. There is now a small flap of paint. It looks black underneath. The car is silver. I don't know anything about fixing paint. PLEASE HELP ME and be THOROUGH lol. I want to fix this and not ruin the car. I've only had the car for 6 days. .....i'm definitely buying a car bra tomorrow bc I live in a rural area and there are pebbles and dirt everywhere. Help me lol
