Tell me the name of this movie?

We watched this movie in history and i cant think of the name!! Its about some soldiers going to africa on a mission to find a women doctor, a priest, and two nuns. I wasnt paying much attention to the movie, but i think i heard someone say mel gibson was in it. If you have any idea what im talking about please help. Haha, thanks (:
