Why isn't my period regular anymore?

I always had regular periods every month. Now as of March they come whenever they want sometimes twice a month. I have gone to two doctors, am not on birth control (nor do I want to be, it makes me very sick), had exams including an ultra sound. Everyone said nothing was wrong. So, what's going on with my period? Am I going thru menopause at 25?? Help!
