I need help with verizon data plan, please!?

You cannot get that phone without the data plan. Verizon Wireless requires you to purchase a data plan with their smart phones. You cannot keep the phone if you cancel the data plan. What Verizon will do is allow you to do is try the service for 30 days and if you are not happy you can cancel your service and return the phone to them.
